The IV European Bioeconomy Congress willt ake place in Łódź on 6th-7th October 2016. The Centre for Public Procurement and PPP was invited to participate in Public-Private Partnership team created by Polish Ministry of Development. The first meeting was on 28th of July 2016 and it’s topic was government policy and law review in matter of PPP. Our Centre was actively represented by mgr Iwona Kowalczyk. Actions taken on governmental level concern Public-Private Partnership popularisation, including elaboration of document, which will be on one hand government statement accepting PPP as investment method and on the other hand guidelines of PPP practise. Moreover, activities aiming to change current regulations of PPP are carried out.
In July 2016 three of our co-workers: mgr Aleksandra Bogusz, mgr Adrianna Burczyńska and Anna Lewandowska are going to Italy to participate in summer school on European and comparative environmental law in Ravenna. Participation of our students and graduates in summer school is possible thanks to cooperation with Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna.
In June 2016 we have two international interns at our Centre: Francesca Novello, Università di Trento, Italy (Erasmus) and Darya Hlushkova, European Humanities University, Lithuania (Campus Europae). The interns were conducting research in green public procurement.
The conference “Procurement Week 2016” was organised by Bangor University (UK) in june 2016. Dr Anna górczyńska participated in this event by presenting implementation of new directives into Polish law issues during panel discussion. Our Centre cooperates with Bangor University and dr Ama Eyo regularly participates in conferences organised in Łódź.
Conference “Contemporary problems of public procurement and public-private partnership in Poland” (13-14 of June 2016, Katowice)
From 13th to 14th of June 2016, prof. Maria Królikowska-Olczak, dr Anna Górczyńska and Agnieszka Czernek has participated in conference “Contemporary problems of public procurement and public-private partnership in Poland” organised by Faculty of Law and Administration of Silesia University. Prof. Królikowska was moderator of panel about negotiation procedures in public procurement. Dr Anna Górczyńska gave a speech about new procedure of innovative partnership.

In April 2016 dr Anna Górczyńska gave guest lecture at Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna. The lecture was about public procurement law reform in EU and had attached considerable interest of italian and Erasmus students. We hope that our cooperation will lead to participation in research events and joint projects.
III National Conference “Consumer at the railway passenger transport market” took place on 25th of May 2016 at Faculty of Law and Administration of university of Lodz. The Centre for Public Procurement and PPP was the partner of the conference. Moreover, we had our representatives: professor Maria Królikowska-Olczak was a moderator of discussion panel “Integration of railway transport with other modes of transport” and mgr Aleksandra Bogusz gave a speech titled “Environmental aspects of access to railway infrastructure”.
