New European public procurement order established by directives package from 2014 previewed mechanism to monitor adequacy and implementation of adopted regulations in Member States. European Commission organises cycle of meeting on the basis of Single Market Forum 2016 – 2017 (SMF) in various European cities. The goal of this workshop is discussion with participants of public procurement market. Planned effect is elaboration of Recommendations for Member States with sets of good practices, new instruments aiming to professionalisation of public procurement as well as to indicate the most important issues of new order.
The first workshop will be organised in December in Warsaw by Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs in partnership with the Public Procurement Office of Poland. The workshop is entitled “Professionalisation in Public Procurement (I): how to design guidance, templates and trainings?”. Among Polish representatives invited to participate in this workshop is Mr Artur Fraj, co-worker of the Centre for Public Procurement and PPP, speaker in conferences and open lecturers organised by our Centre. Mr Artur Fraj is Project Manager and Coordinator of Public Procurement and Contracts Team at Airport of Lodz.
