Success in competition for the best master thesis

We are very glad to inform that mgr Izabella Sobieraj won II prize in the competition for the best master thesis organised by Public Procurement Office. As there was no I prize, it is worth to underline that it was the best rated master thesis in Poland. The jury emphasised high level of all presented master thesis. Debate “Public procurement system – designed changes directions and development perspectives”

On 1st December 2016 Prof. Maria Królikowska-Olczak, invited by President of Public Procurement Office President Małgorzata Stręciwil, participated in the debate “Public procurement system – designed changes directions and development perspectives”. The debate started cycle of meeting with representatives of various environments interested in creating clear and coherent public procurement system. The goal of those meetings is views and knowledge exchange and to indicate directions of current changes of law regulations.

Academy of Young Diplomats

The ceremony of graduation of Academy of Young Diplomats took place on 3rd December 2016 in Warsaw. We are glad to announce that among alumnus of the programme is mgr Aleksandra Bogusz, who closely cooperate with the Centre for Public Procurement and PPP. She graduated XII edition of Academy of Young Diplomats with specialisation in International Organisations. We warmly congratulate and we wish further success!

Seminary „Responsibility of public authorities in France and in Poland” (Lodz, 2nd December 2016)

The second seminary within PHC Polonium Programme 2016-2017 entitled „Responsibility of public authorities in France and in Poland” took place on 2nd December 2016 at Faculty of Law and Administration of University of Lodz. The Programme is realised in cooperation with Faculty of Law, Economics and Social Science of University Francois Rebalais in Tour. Countermeasures against fraud in financial perspective 2014-2020

On 30th November 2016 took place conference on countermeasures against fraud in financial perspective 2014-2020 organised by Ministry of Development. Mgr Iwona Kowalczyk – member of team of Centre for Public Procurement and PPP participated in this conference. https://www.polskacyfrowa.gov.pl/strony/o-programie/szkolenia/konferencja-nt-przeciwdzialania-naduzyciom-finansowym/ The role of institutions of governance and monitoring, which has to be aware of challenges provoked by fraud, corruption or conflict of interests, to eliminate potential risk, were underlined the during debate. Speakers put emphasis on European Commission expectations related to proper knowledge from both: officers and beneficiaries.  

Centre’s active participation in Single Market Forum „Professionalisation in Public Procurement” (Warsaw)

New European public procurement order established by directives package from 2014 previewed mechanism to monitor adequacy and implementation of adopted regulations in Member States. European Commission organises cycle of meeting on the basis of Single Market Forum 2016 – 2017 (SMF) in various European cities. The goal of this workshop is discussion with participants of public procurement market. Seminary “Public procurement system in UN. Possibilities for Polish entrepreneurs”

On 23rd November 2016 seminary “Public procurement system in UN. Possibilities for Polish entrepreneurs” was organised by Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Information Point International Public Procurement by PARPS and Marshall Office of Lodz Region. During the meeting issue of complex system of public procurement in UN Agendas was raised as well as participation of Polish entrepreneurs in UN tenders was discussed.

E-Public procurement . Case study – Airport of Lodz (Lodz, 27th October 2016)

On 27th October 2016 at Faculty of Law and Administration of University of Lodz open lecture entitled “E-Public procurement . Case study – Airport of Lodz”. The lecture was given by Mr Artur Fraj – Project Manager. W. Reymont Airport in Lodz.  

PPP Team’s work in Ministry of Development

We are glad to inform that PPP Team’s resolution on accepting the project of the document “Government policy in field of PPP’s development” has been adopted on 13th October 2016 in Ministry of Development. The project will be soon presented to Ministry’s Management and will be introduced to the path of legislation. The document’s project has been created thanks, among others, to mgr Iwona Kowalczyk’s – member of Centre for Public Procurement and PPP – active cooperation. 80% of mgr Iwona Kowalczyk’s remarks and propositions has been considered in the documen’s project, which is great contribution.
